Spirit Essences Report: Stella

This is part of a series of posts about the Spirit Essences that Jackson uses to help the cats you see on My Cat From Hell (Saturdays at 8 pm (ET/PT) on Animal Planet, check your local listings).

Spirit Essences are not essential oils.  They are holistic remedies, and the only veterinarian-formulated line of its kind in the world.   Jackson has developed and refined the remedies based on his over 15 years of experience and the needs of his clients.  They have been extremely successful, even in very difficult situations.  For more info, check out www.SpiritEssences.com.

This edition of the Spirit Essences Report will cover just one cat from the previous episode of “My Cat From Hell.”  It was quite an involved case, and so we’ll report on the second cat in a separate post later this week.

Stella

Issue: Stellla was one cat in a multi-animal household.  Her guardians wanted to start a family, but held off because of Stella’s unpredictable and violent tendencies.  Urinating all over an entire downstairs room, scratching up furniture, carpets, and people…Stella’s guardians were at their wit’s end.  Time to call in Jackson Galaxy – The Cat Daddy.

Jackson says: “In Rob and Stephanie’s home, the balance between the 4 cats and the two dogs was always a bit precarious, for one because they all liked to be in the same room as the couple, and also because Stella was, well, pretty cranky.  So the whole home got Peacemaker in their food and water.  Because I thought Stella was holding on to the trauma from an old injury, I started her on Trauma-Free and Stress Stopper.  By the time she saw Dr. Mahaney, I was confident that between the essences, the supplements and the acupuncture that she was on her way to processing the old patterns from her system.  At that point, I transferred her over to Creak-Away, as maintenance for the chronic discomfort that Dr. Mahaney, Rob, Stephanie and myself were working to manage.”

Mr. Fluff, the huge Maine Coon who started out on the show as a “terror in the night,” will be featured in the next Spirit Essences Report later this week.

How do you incorporate three Spirit Essences at a time for one cat? I read where you said to use one as the base and the other as a complimentary remedy, but you were only using two examples. How do you use three? Alternate between the complimentary remedies in a day using the base in the food/water?

      Hi Amanda,

This is a great question. For working with three remedies, in general, the base remedy would go in their food and/or water as you already know. One complementary remedy would go on your pet and the other complementary remedy would be misted. This is a general guideline.

We also got your email and due to the remedies you are using, I would actually recommend using the base remedy as stated above, but spraying the other two in different areas.

      Good luck!

They held off becoming parents because of a cat? Seriously? Wow. I don’t know what to say. Just. Wow.

We regret that Jackson does not answer questions posted in the comments. This is due to his demanding schedule and the high volume of requests he receives. But most importantly, since he has not met your cat, it would be contrary to his approach for him to give specific personalized advice for your specific situation. That being said, general questions and issues are addressed throughout this blog, in his book Cat Daddy and of course, the show My Cat From Hell.
