Jackson will be a part of the People Saving Pets Walk fundraising event on Sunday, February 19. It’s an all-day affair and requires registration, so if you want to be in on it, read on.
First off: All proceeds benefit PetSmart Charities® and local animal-welfare agencies in the Tempe, Arizona area.
In Arizona, an estimated 100,000 companion animals enter shelters every year; despite the best efforts of shelter staff, only about half of those pets find homes — those that do not find homes are euthanized.
People & Pets Together: Doing Good
People Saving Pets Walk draws people and pets together in a healthy activity for a worthy cause…raising money to save the lives of homeless pets and finding homes for homeless pets. It’s great for families and builds camaraderie among company employees. Above all, it’s an event you will feel good about being a part of.

Help in Boston. I have just adopted a 2.5 year old female retired 3rd place cat champion. She is a real beauty but has been doing some strange things like running from room to room at night with her toys in her mouth all the while crying. Then running back in the room to lick (nonstop) my face and hands. My skin has never been smoother but it is painful. I am getting the feeling this is a behavorial thing. When I try petting her, she flinches a bit so it pet her head from behind. And she also doesn’t like to be held much. Trust me I watch your shows and I have learned a lot. I had recently lost a 20 year old, a 7 week old and more recently my 11 year old. My heart was broken but I thought I would take a chnce with Miss Emily Hansdatta. I am in love w/her even though it’s been only 2 days.. Thank you Jackson and keep up the awesome work!

Jackson, My cat Rascal (med length Tuxedo cat) used to pounce on my other cat, Clairessa (Himalayin), but not in a playful way. He was being abusive towards her. This was when we decided to get a “mediator” cat. So along came Bombay (short haired black cat)of whom Rascal does like. I thought the abusive days were over, until today. I heard Clairessa crying and when I came around the corner in my house, there was Rascal holding onto Clairessa and scraping his back claws on her abdomen. This has really upset me. Clairessa already has IBD (Intestinal Bowel Disease) and then, for me to see Rascal doing that to her, made me very mad. Why would he do that to her? Do you have any answers?
