Hi Cat Daddy! Just wanted to thank you like thousands of other folks, I have four cats of my own. They let me live there. I also care for 8 feral cats outside that were left behind due to foreclosures and stupid humans. I did purchase the “peacemaker” for my male cat as he has trouble with the little calico feral that decided to just move in. Can’t say no to her. Anyway, it worked. Love the show! And love Jackson’s approach to behavior problems with cats!!! >^.^< I've learned a lot for my 4 kitties and for my ex-husband's and kids' kitties as well! Wish I'd have known about you when my kitty girl, Yotie was still alive, (she was my animal familiar!) she was freaky scary for a tiny little grey cat! I loved her though and despite all the wicked stuff she did, like attacking everyone, but me – except if I scared her – totally my fault, peeing everywhere but the cat boxes, attacking our other cats, except Morgaine La Fey and just general weirdness (that really, I loved!). I miss her a lot and when I see some of the "mean" cats on the show, I pay very close attention so I can apply that to other people's cats who have similar problems to try and keep the kitty in her home! Thank you so much for your show, for your kindness to the cats, the other animals in the homes and even the humans! Lot's of common sense stuff all cat owners should know! Sorry for rambling, I just can't say enough about your show tho, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!! ^.^< <3 One of the Crazy Cat Ladies in this world!

I love this stuff and need clothes to wear to work – I dissect fruit fly brains!
How cool! It’s neat to see something cat oriented that a guy feels comfortable wearing. When I was working at a cat show some years ago, and they showed me the shirt the ladies had designed, I looked at them, shook my head, and just said, “no”. I’ll wear my own clothes. lol Later on they gifted me with the same design, done all in black on a gray t-shirt, so of course I wore it. Oh, need to go back a step. The design was the overly skinny silhouettes (kind of like in the French painting) of cats, intertwined to look like a heart, wearing pink and yellow bows, on a pastel shirt. Now you get my “no” and my inside voice going, “HELL NO”. lol So pleeeeease let me win this. I’ll wear it at the next fund-raiser or adoption event and tell everyone where I got it.

How neat. I’m doing this for my son that volunteers with animal rescue and is always helping cats. He’s got a feral in the spare room he’s had fixed, at his own expense, and is taming to try and put up for adoption. Then there’s an ill cat in the garage he’s got in a baby pen that he’s trying to help. He’s always talking about how there are no “cool” things for a guy to wear about cats and most of the people at the events he works at are older women and they all wear “girly” looking stuff. So this would be a wonderful surprise for him, if I won.

I am an “old lady” with an old (20 yrs old and blind) cat. Love your show. I knew she was protected by the dogs (an Akita and a Pitbull), when she cried while getting her nails cut…the pitbull got in my son’s face and barked as if to say “you’re hurting her! STOP!!” I have been in the hospital from catbites and had catscratch fever…never once did I consider getting rid of the offending cat…just learned to respect her personal space. I have been a cat lover since birth. I have said the name “Cat-Daddy” many times a day for 12 years before my rescued barn kitty with that name passed. I named him that because he was the coolest cat ever. It tickles me that it is your nick-name and reminds me of my buddy.
I have been watching your show and that compiled with reading research has helped me with the rescues that have found their way into my home and my heart. It can be difficult with multiple cats but your suggestions have helped. We now have shelving on walls and made a few trips to the vet. We have brought back play time several times a day. We are still working on things but your tips showed me that it doesn’t happen overnight and I am excited about the progress we make even when it is just little things. Thank you Jackson.

Jackson, you are the Cat hero we have been waiting for a long time. So few people appreciate and understand that all cats, indoor and outdoor, are created equal yet have their distinct behaviors and personalities. I have six cats, one dog and care for 20 outdoor community cats. Some I can pet, some I can pick up, and some sniff the spoon that feeds them. They all have names and are the outdoor pets. I love them all. Here’s to your show and educating the masses that cats are unique!

I have two cats that have gone from daily hellacious screaming fights to one fight/week from following Jackson’s advice. In our case, I had to make sure that the smaller cat had a safe place to retreat from everyone when she needed quiet time AND I made a point of waving the bird-on-a-string toy around while we were watching TV every day. This allowed them to use their hunting instincts on the toy instead of treating each other like prey.
We have a household member who would routinely “pull the pin on the cat grenade” .
Holly liked a little rough-housing, but it was always too much, and always lead to the cats attacking each other instead of the person who stirred things up. Now that I have locked the screen door (with cat door) on my study, she has a place of refuge when she needs it, even when I am at work. and both cats are calmer.

I am 33 years old and have never had a cat before. However, my partner and I are getting 2 kittens tomorrow. She has had cats on and off throughout her life and LOVES all “mittens” as she calls them. She has spent a lot of time over the past 6 years helping me with my negative attitude towards cats. Now I have completely embraced the idea of us becoming a guardian. I am very excited.

While I think I do a great job with all my cats, I’m always looking for ways to improve our home with them in mind. Jackson has opened my eyes to some wonderful new expierences with my cats. (Girl kitty, 8 yrs old, Seymour, 10 years old….and our old guy “Puff Daddy” who is 23.) I am now working with Puff and training him to walk outside on the leash, with the other cats soon to follow I’m sure.

Love your show! We live with three cats, two dogs and a parakeet. The cats’ job apart from cuddling and telling us when it it time to get up and feed them is to teach foster dogs how to act around cats. They have plenty of places high and low to get away from them. I do not foster dogs that are known to be aggressive with cats, but sometimes they have never been around them, and the three are very good at showing them how NOT to approach cats! “Permission to walk through the doorways, please?” I cannot imagine life without my animal friends!

We love watching your show. We have three cats (2 strays) and a 13 year old son and your show has taught him a lot about interacting with our felines. We record it on the DVR and it is nice to see our son watching your show instead of something else. We actually have tamed a semi feral cat who now sleeps with us.

I’ve used it now on a feral cat I trapped last November – was awesome when he responded. Thanks for pointing out all the mistakes that humans make – We can be pretty clued at times. I also help with angry birds – normally just the location of the cage etc -ie by the kids drum set !!

Hi, I love what Jackson is doing, God bless him . The only thing I disagree with is his view on not declawiing all cats. I have two cats that have seizures and and I did not have them declawed. until one day when the one with undeveloped eyes ( protected by her third eyelid ) had a seizure and hooked her nail on her bottom eyelid and came too close to hooking it into her third eyelid. If she would have torn that, that would of opened up a whole new door for this kitty that already has her issues. So that being said. I think that if you know the vet. well enough to trust his qualifications on declawing than ok, but I do not believe in using the laser declawing method, it burns and makes healing longer, the vet. I use and worked for , for about 10 years , just takes off what would be considered the finger nail on us. ( it would be like us loosing a nail from and injury and the nail didn’t grow back. he leaves the toes. I wouldn’t have anyone except my vet. and his assistant do it. Thank you for your time. and please don’t misunderstand this message. I’m not putting anyone down. I just wanted to let people know what might would of happened if they made a “no declaw” law. I can’t thank you enough. I used your show to grieve when my little buddy, Brody (a 10yo short-hair, handsome tuxedo cat), lost a battle to stomach cancer. I had to learn a whole new relationship with his surviving kitty sister, Amity (a 7 yo medium-hair, tortoiseshell, eterernal kitten). Our relationship has improved, only making the best better. I have learned so much from watching your show, thank you. Unfortunately, this weekend was a very sad one. Had to put my kitty Peyote, who turned 19 recently, to sleep last night. I got her a year before I graduated college, and she was amazing. She gave birth to her only litter of kittens in my lap, because she refused to leave it when it was time. Then she nursed them in my guitar case. Such a wonderful companion, first to me, then to my mother after my dad passed away 9 years ago. RIP sweet Peyote.

I have learned so much from you!! I have made my home more kitty friendly where Spike can go up and not be floor bound. Your organic kitty nip toys are great – he loves the banana. Spike came to me declawed and have used the spirit essence on his paws and it seems to help!! Thank you for all you do and teach – you are truly appreciated!! Hi Jackson! I love your show “Cat from Hell” and the fact that you totally have communication with the pets. After 44 years of grooming dogs and cats I understand the communication between you and the pets and you and the guardians. I have spent the better part of my life working in my grooming shops and I must say I understand pets better than humans but being able to communicate with the guardians is a God given talent. The more you work with them the better you get too. I wish the guardians could understand our job as a groomer because I believe many of them think we have the best job because we get to play with the animals all day. When actually, it is much harder than they realize. No words can explain it…it is something you have to experience. That is why I love your show. I would love to see a Reality Show that shows the people what really goes on in a properly ran grooming shop. Because you never know what kind of day you are going to have until it is over. Everyday is different but at the end of the day, the reward is priceless. I share your emotions when you get positive results when it comes to pleasing the pets and the guardians. You are a true to heart pet lover and it shows. Thank you for sharing your experiences. Looking forward to the next season. The “Best” to you!! Sylvia has just returned after being gone for about 8-9 months. She’s our rescued from a housefire cat, we had to have her right eye removed do to an injury from that fire. So happy to have her back.
I’ve had cats all my life. I always will. Love Catdaddy and “my cat from hell”.

We’re super excited to tell you how much we’ve loved the show. All 5 of us: mom, dad, brother and sisters have watched the episodes learning new stuff each time. We were amazed that cats are not so much of their stereotypical behavior but instead very innate and not-so-hard-to understand when given an educated perspective in real-life environments.
The difference in breeds as well as so many factors we’ve learned such as the way they perceive us, our other animals, and their security factors is stuff you dont get out of a cat book- just cute and funny photos:)
We’ve loved to watch And learn what seems to be serious complicated issues explained with understandable explanations from the cats view and feelings. Way too cool stuff. Can’t wait to see some new episodes and would like you to show Fuzz sometime. My husband is a big Mecury/Apollo missions fan, as well as cats, so we think he’d dig the fact you named your kitty cat Fuzz Aldrin! It’s all been super great to follow so, please keep up the work for these felines and their families and keep rockin the convertible and guitar case full of cool cat stuff. Stay clear of the claws if you can and have fun!!

Two months ago I adopted a cat from Animal Talk Rescue in Seattle. I looked at other places in the area too like Whisker City where I know the owners but this little girl melted my heart. I am brand new to cat ownership so I was looking for relatively easy my first time out. She is confident, affectionate, and behaves as well as any cat can be expected to. When I first met her she leaned into my petting with her head as if to say “more there please” and then proceeded to roll over on her back and ask for a belly rub, which I gladly did. I am so glad to have found you as a resource and plan to follow whatever advice I can get from you. I know I will make some mistakes at first but she seems to be very forgiving. Thanks for all you do for cats and their owners. I have to go now. Fiona is clamoring for play time. I have to wear her out so I can get some sleep tonight…
