We regret that Jackson does not answer questions posted in the comments. This is due to his demanding schedule and the high volume of requests he receives. But most importantly, since he has not met your cat, it would be contrary to his approach for him to give specific personalized advice for your specific situation. Hey Jackson, we hope you can suggest something for us to try, our male bengal, Diesel, is 10 months, spayed at 6 mths, has a litter mate brother,
Puma, which uses the litter boxes purrrrfectly, I am glad to say. we have tried almost anything suggested to stop him from peeing on our leather couch.
It was where I would sit, the infamous butt groove…that he chose to start with and has graduated to anywhere on the couch. Never the love seat.Unfortunately we also had two cats stay with us for a week , then they left and the peeing started. We tinfoiled, 5 different cleaners , a cat diffusor and now behaviour modification , as suggested by the vet, which has also ruled out health issues.He has suggested we place him in a room , by himself, with all his litter box, water, food, toys and such, for an extended in- house- arrest. he was let out and within less than 24 hours he is doing hard time again….ugh, please help break him out of this predicament. We absolutely love these boys and don’t want to create any other issues between the brothers, Diesel and Puma both are very playful, affectionate and smart, they both walk on leadsoutside and have a sisal palmtree perch and many many many toys as well as much affection from their guardians. we are considering a toy-go-round exersize wheel for them and are open to your suggestions, thank you for your help, Mike and Tanya
