I remember the first time I saw Jackson Galaxy on Animal Planet. He was adding commentary to a cat show, but I mesmerized! He broke the mold on a cat lover! Cat lovers get tired of being boxed into the single spinster ladies sitting in homes with cats crawling all over them – especially us single ladies 🙂
I’m the proud pet guardian of 3 amazing cats that have changed my life in so many ways. I have 2 19 year old brothers, Calvin & Hobbes, & a rescue from my apt. complex that met me at my door and rolled over on her back…belly exposed to greet me! I have been battling depression, anxiety & an eating disorder for many years & my cats have literally saved my life. I can’t wait to get my paws on this book & read about Jackson’s journey through rough times & the cat mojo that helped him battle back! I love his show, My Cat From Hell & I hope to see, read & see much more of the tattooed, guitar wielding , rock-a-billy & Kick a$$ cat behaviorist that has inspired the new vision of cat lovers everywhere!
    Rock on Mr. Galaxy!

Each and every time I watch this trailer brings tears to my eyes. It shows just how compassionate a person that Jackson really is and just how much he gets what is really going on in the (cat) world, which I can really appreciate. His book is the kind of book you can’t set down once you’ve started reading it. I mean its understanding where he’s actually been, to get to this point in his life, and I feel he deserves all the good and positive he has received and is still receiving because its been a long and difficult climb for him. He is very gifted and is putting that gift to use in the greatest way possible and deserves all the respect one can give for trying to make this world a more peaceful and humane place to exist, for all the cats sake who exist on the planet and Im sure they are so thankful for everything he has been doing. Thank you Jackson from the bottom of my heart. Keep it up!!!

I cannot wait to read this book! Jackson busts open the old mold of cat lovers being weird, lonely spinsters with no lives. I have a house full of rescue cats, I volunteer at an animal sanctuary, and I could not ever imagine living one day without my whisker gang. However, I am also fun, outgoing and lead a very active social life! So many people wonder how I can devote so much time, energy, and money into my cats and cat rescue efforts. i wonder how people can NOT do it!

I saw this book after looking on Jacksons site looking for any advice for my cat pheonix terminal illness of kidney failure. He was in the very end stages and struggling to know when was the best time to let him got by his behaviour or knowing how to identify when he wa in pain. I nursed him everyday and it was a emotional roller coaster and still is.
When I read a brief right up about the candid story and inspiration of benny to Jackson it sort of touched my heart as I feel my boy was one of mine. He was rescued and brought back from the brink of death hence the name , pheonix rising from the flames . He mothered my other two rescue kittens which I have never seen before from a male cat.
Jackson I can see you truly care and love these felines you help. I am really looking forward to ready yours and bennys story as my baby was put to sleep Wednesday and your inspirational story may help. Work the work you do for the kitties is amazing thank you.

We regret that Jackson does not answer questions posted in the comments. This is due to his demanding schedule and the high volume of requests he receives. But most importantly, since he has not met your cat, it would be contrary to his approach for him to give specific personalized advice for your specific situation. That being said, general questions and issues are addressed throughout this blog, in his book Cat Daddy and of course, the show My Cat From Hell.
