Oscar the Sphynx
Issue: While Oscar was a ‘normal’ cat with Travis, he would growl and yowl (and scratch) whenever Diane picked him up. At nights, Oscar paced and howled and interrupted Travis’ work, which he did from home over the phone. And on top of all that, Oscar urinated outside the litter box.
Jackson first had Travis and Diane work together to bathe Oscar, instead of Diane doing it on her own (which was why Oscar growled at her and not Travis). As a Sphynx, Oscar needed a weekly bath. Jackson also had a professional groomer show them how to give the bath in the most pleasant way possible so it wasn’t a traumatic experience for anyone (human or cat). Travis began playing cat & mouse with Oscar, which stopped him from being a nighttime noise-maker. And finally, to help solve the urinating problem: along with changing to a new litter and new shaped litter box, which helps re-program the cat’s previous associations, Jackson used essences…
Jackson says: Essence-wise, for Oscar, we used Declaw Remedy, trying to undo the energetic damage done by the surgery and to help Oscar re-associate the litter box with positive things.

Riley

Jackson says: Essence-wise, for Riley, we used Trauma-Free and Stress Stopper. It’s a one-two punch for cats like Riley who had a really bad experience with a person and what that person’s energy represents. In this case, it was what Vincent’s hands represented. The other thing that we did was use Trauma-Free and Stress Stopper to help move Riley through that process of going from bad to good. And obviously that helped a lot as well.

We regret that Jackson does not answer questions posted in the comments. This is due to his demanding schedule and the high volume of requests he receives. But most importantly, since he has not met your cat, it would be contrary to his approach for him to give specific personalized advice for your specific situation. Dunno if questions get answered here or not, but maybe someone else commenting will know the answer to this one: During the first on-camera meeting with Riley’s keepers, Jackson said “so I’m back again.” Had there been a prior, un-aired attempt at helping Riley’s caretakers with the situation? I’m very curious….

LOVE THE NEW GUITAR/CAT COMMUNICATING case in the new season 3! It looks really nice and not as big and clunky. Also, love the blue & white case pictured here. Why don’t you use that one in the show?
I don’t know why Jackson doesn’t use it on the show. Yet. We’ll see if it shows up on T.V. soon… it’s definitely a relatively new guitar case. And you know how they film shows way before the shows get aired.
