Jackson on the night before My Cat From Hell season 4 begins shooting

Jackson gets punchy, pensive, and reflective on the eve of his first day of shooting for season 4.

He wanted to share the night with all of you, so here it is.

We regret that Jackson does not answer questions posted in the comments. This is due to his demanding schedule and the high volume of requests he receives. But most importantly, since he has not met your cat, it would be contrary to his approach for him to give specific personalized advice for your specific situation. That being said, general questions and issues are addressed throughout this blog, in his book CAT DADDY and of course, the show My Cat From Hell.

Hello Jackson, light, love, and mojo to you! Once again I want to share my gratitude for you .Thank you for enriching my life and my cat’s lives. I have learned so much from your story, your example, and your show! It benifits not only my cats, but myself as well. I was a scaredy cat, and your idea of the “Challenge line” has literally changed my life. I am branching out into new ventures. I am also volunteering at our local shelter. You ARE Benny’s legacy and you DO HIM PROUD! Glad to see you are grounded and experiencing your feelings! That;s a sure sign of health! Namaste Linda Eisenhauer

Just think. Without you and Benny, there would have been little holes all over the place in our world–little empty, silent spots–that you (and now also everyone who knows you and believes in your mission) have been able to fill with hope, love, and light. I’m telling you, you have changed the world, man. You’re a class act, Jax. ThankYou

Just think. Without you and Benny, there’d be lots of little holes all over the place in “our” world. Dark, cold, lonely little spots of, well, nothing. But then you and Benny came together to heal each other and in the process, you’ve been filling those holes with love, light, hope, and healing! Man, yours is one incredible path–and thank you for bringing those of us who understand your mission along for the ride. You’re a class act, Jax.

My cat Duncan and I love you, love your book, love and all of his spiritual brothers and sisters—we are delighted with your message and even more delighted to know when Season 4 starts. If you decide to write another book, I think it too would command a large audience……and Deb Trombley is right, you ARE a class act:)

Yeah, you have done more than any research team from Animal Planet, National Geographic, Big Cat Diary, or Discovery combined could have taught us about kitties. And just a simple, regular guy, who started out working at a shelter, Who would have thunk it???? I watch every episode no matter how many times it comes on cuz I learn something every time I see them. You are an awesome, outstanding person who as was said above has filled a bunch of holes in the lives of kitties and what we know about them. Carry on man and keep up the wonderful work. We are all benefitting from it immensley!!! Kitties and humans alike.

Jackson, you look so tired (though I’m totally digging the hat!). Please take good care of yourself in the months to come; your work is so important, but you have to let yourself take a little mojo in order to give it back… We love you and TOTALLY support what you are doing! Blessed be!

Thanks for all your hard work in bringing us the right tools we need to be proper cat guardians and helping us understand these wonderful gifts that have been brought into our lives. Good mojo coming at ya! Thanks again :)

    Jackson,
I adopted, Willy, about 6 years ago. He was a playful tiny kitten. The vet said he weighed 3 ozs……he’s grown up into a 16 lb cat. He can be very loveable but then he might decide to ATTACK (he bites me for no reason. ) And he’s NOT playing. His eyes get really big & black, his ears are back. I don’t know what to do. I’ve given him calming drops, but those just make him very lethargic. I hate that but I don’t know what to do.
    Please help me
    Crystie

Hallo :) , yesterday I’ve got the first cat in my life. He is 6 month old, completely white and as the most white cat he cannot hear…. He has quite traumatic life before, but anyway he is really nice and open baby :) . I have two problems: how to spend night with such a young and energetic cat? He sleeps a little and go to another room to play with his toys, then comes back and doing with my hand (tries with my head also) things like with mother, he pinches my skin and sucks it, like a teat. It’s fine during relax in the day, but what to do at night? :)

    greetings,

    Marta
