My Cat From Hell is back April 6, 8pm (E/P)

MCFH season 4 premiere slider

Hey there #TeamCatMojo! My Cat From Hell is back Saturday, April 6 at 8:00 p.m. (E/P)

You’d think Jackson has seen it all.  Right?

As a cat-behavior expert for the past 15 years and a T.V. show and all.

BUT.

When it comes to fiery felines and their overwhelmed owners, anything is possible, and every day has the potential to surprise.

And #TeamCatMojo — WE get to see it — beginning April 6, at 8 PM (ET/PT).

MY CAT FROM HELL returns with 17 all-new episodes which will test Jackson Galaxy’s knowledge and teach our seasoned cat man some new tricks.

We got a little insider info on what we’ll be seeing this season.

Check it out.

The Cats

This season’s gamut of calamitous cat cases includes…

  • felines that can’t control their bladders
  • kitty turf wars
  • cat mood swings
  • and a ferocious feline that does severe damage to its 95-year-old owner

The Humans

Galaxy also tackles the human elements at the root of these problems, including…

  • feuding roommates
  • enabling owners
  • overbearing cat parents
  • and confused disciplinarians

How Do You Like Meow?

In addition to the new crop of cases, the website AnimalPlanet.com will take us back into the inferno with Jackson’s former clients in a web-only series: HELL CATS REVISITED: HOW DO YOU LIKE MEOW?

Also debuting on April 6 as a complement to the TV series, this 16-episode, original short-form web series follows up with some of the most memorable felines from episodes past…to find out if the kitties play when the Cat Daddy is away.

  • Have the owners employed Galaxy’s techniques to achieve harmony with their cats?
  • If so, are they still living in peace, or is it life in hell again?

Saturday, April 6 at 8:00 p.m. (E/P)

In MY CAT FROM HELL, Jackson takes on the most “cat”astrophic cat cases anyone ever has encountered.

Armed with a proven training program and his signature guitar case filled with cat toys, he’s on a mission to help cat owners find the sources of conflict with their furry friends.  #TeamCatMojo helps felines AND repairs the relationships they’re ruining.

We’re behind Jackson Galaxy to save the day!

Dear Jackson, I’ve been hooked since animal planet started airing My cat from hell. :DD I record every single episode too. now i understand so much more abt cats and practising with all the cute kitties the ‘ I love you’ method. Your book is simply amazing, i think you’re brave to have pulled through all those crises. Thank you for sharing… i have a difficult time settling for 1 career, i write short stories and articles though they don’t earn much. Because other stuff is meaningless to me.

I am so excited you are back! I adopted two kittens who will be a year in June. One is an orange tabby, Purkins and the other is Siamese, Daisy. Since we adopted them Purkins is so jealous he pushes her off the kitty condo, bed, or chases her away. He lays on top of me at 4 in the morning and rubs his face on mine – every night! He turning into a bully with Daisy. I try to give them the same attention and do the same for both. I don’t know what to do to stop this bullying. When I try to catch him after he has pushed her off the kitty condo he runs and hides. Stinker right? I love my cats and they love to sleep together and they do love each other. The bullying is getting worse and my poor Daisy runs and hides under the bed because he wants me all to himself. If anyone has experienced this sort of behavior, please let me know. Thanks! ^..^

Can’t wait for the new season! My cat is a piece of furry heaven, but I always learn something from watching your shows to help my cat. Maybe that’s one of the reasons why he’s so happy…

My Marilyn is a skitso kitty. She freaks out about everything! She’s scared of people . She will let me & my boyfriend pet her but noone else. when the doorbell rings, she runs for her hiding spots!!
If we have to take her to the vet it’s a nightmare!! She goes ballistic trying to put her in the carrier to take her there& she howls the whole time she’s in the carrier. She claws the vet. & their assistants I feel so badly for them just to get her a check up or shots.
She got a cold & we had to give her antibiotics & it was a nightmare!! She wouldn’t take it by mouth. So I put it in her food. Smart ass ate around the medicine. She took almost 2 weeks to get well because she wouldn’t take the medicine.
She’s so scared of other people I don’t know what to do.
She’s 9 yrs old & I’m afraid it’s too late to teach her anything new. Can u help?

      Hi Tina,
I also have a scaredy cat & taking her out of the house is always very traumatic to her. However, the last time I needed to take her to the vet, instead of a carrier, I used a harness & leash. I put a cozy pillow on the seat beside me & tied her leash to the seat for her own safety & pet her all the way there. She still howled, but I think that being allowed to sit on the seat where she could see around her was less traumatic then being shoved into a box. The harness also provides a great way to hold & control her once there. Give it a try, worked out great for me.

So glad to see you back on Animal Planet for another season, Jackson! I’d like to purchase one of those massaging pads that was used in the episode featuring Burberry. If anyone knows where to purchase one, please respond – thank you!! :-)

What you did with Minibar was so beautiful. It brought tears to my eyes. I hope this episode will help change how feral cats are viewed. While certainly most will never be able to live indoors, as you demonstrated they can coexist and even form bonds with us humans.

I watch every new episode of this show, the series is set in my DVR. Love it!
During the commercials for the new season, they were showing a cat that would meow very loudly at night, but this was not the episode that aired. Will it air? When?
I have a cat that over the last 2 years has begun “hollering” and I was really looking forward to seeing Jackson’s approach to this.

Jackson, Love the show. Want to see more. I especially like the cat furniture. In a show like the one with Olive and Pepper, Mike and Emily in New York, you specifically mentioned how tiny the New York apartments are and then your cat lady friend comes in and places this huge piece of cat furniture and I can’t for the life of me see how you got it in that tiny hallway. Isn’t there a way that you can get the camera to pan back and show more of an entire lay out of the place instead of just so close up showing the piece? Looks super but how does it fit?

    Hey Jackson!

Absolutely LOVE your great show and hope that many viewers are solving some of their own cat problems from what they learn watching you!

I know your shows are on iTunes, but still wish you had a set of DVDs that we could purchase. Recording shows from the TV includes all commercials, etc and are time consuming to edit out. I don’t mind paying for great shows like yours either!

I do have one small question for you Jackson: On your shows you give people great advice but hardly any actual details (on air at least). So many times when you go back to see what they’ve done, they haven’t done enough in some cases because they didn’t have enough SPECIFIC information to go with. So do you or your staff explain much more about what they should do (how to build a catio, protect furniture, etc.) off camera, or what? We at home could also use more ACTUAL FACTS and SPECIFICS too occasionally.

Again: LOVE YOUR WONDERFUL SHOW and will continue to spread the good word about it to all those I meet! Hope it stays on the air forever! Cats AND people both need your very personal and thoughtful advice! =^..^=

Our old 13 year old cat is thriving thanks to an episode I watched about using baby food for my cat. For over 2-3 months our cat was losing weight, he had a check-up and there was nothing wrong with him accept age. We changed his diet that included turkey baby food and he began putting on weight and started acting like his old self once again. Thank you Jackson for your useful suggestions and cat-tips. Best wishes!

We love the show. Our babies are great, but we love the show. Our 2 cats and 1 dogs get along really great. Thank goodness. We were watching the show. Today,we saw the adventure about Tony with his romantic issues with his toys. Jesse James our stub tail baby has an Eeyore that he “loves”. Fixed, but loves his baby. I thought we had the only fixed cat in the world who did that. About once a day he has his special time. But the dog and visitor dogs play with Eeyore normally, no big deal to Jesse, he shares well.
We have strictly rescue babies and everybody is fixed. Its all about responsible ownership.

Keep up the great work, we look forward to new shows.

  29. Hello From France !!!   June 2, 2013 at 12:36 pm

    Hi,
I have discovered your show while surfing on the web and I just loved it. I watch the 3 existing seasons almost in row. Once finished I missed it so much, so I was very happy when the new season came back on the air and with 17 episodes !!!

The show is very inspiring. The catification for exemple is something I never thought about… You gave me (as well as all the people posting on your site) a lot of ideas.
Well, in France most of the cats are living outside. So no one will ever think to catify. A cat tree will be the maximum people will do.

I have 8 strays cats living all year long in my garden plus one (his mother is one of the strays that missed “pills day” last year) who’s living inside for health & security reasons. But I know that he is just dying to go outside.

The way you manage the “hellish cats” ;o) and their guardians is awsome. You may be a “cat” behaviorist but you are a damn good “guardians” behaviorist too.

Long life to you my dear Jackson, long life to “My Cat from Hell”.

I send you big, big kisses from the South of France !!! :o))
    Cathy

We regret that Jackson does not answer questions posted in the comments. This is due to his demanding schedule and the high volume of requests he receives. But most importantly, since he has not met your cat, it would be contrary to his approach for him to give specific personalized advice for your specific situation. That being said, general questions and issues are addressed throughout this blog, in his book Cat Daddy and of course, the show My Cat From Hell.
