    I hope all is well.

Suggestion for next time you’re on a talk show – show clips of bad behavior AND clips of resulting good behavior. In other words, before and after.

By only showing bad behavior like you did tonight on Leno it will reinforce negative cat stereotypes with people who do not like cats.

By showing both types of clips, you’ll attract a wider range of people to the show. It will show the story telling nature of the show rather than simply showing it as a YouTube clip show of bad behavior.

Hi Jackson! I loved you on Leno last night. When Rebel Wilson commented about you being pussy whipped I just about hit the floor laughing. Was that planned? It sure didn’t look like it was. I do remember that first home visit from your book.
As for the comment above, there’s no time on that type of talk show for more in depth result clips; you did great!! Next time it should be mentioned to check out “My Cat from Hell” on Animal Planet or go to your website to see the followup results. Would be a perfect way to attract more fans. Anyway, would love to see you on tv a lot more!

Hey Jackson!! I’m so glad you are back for another season! My Cat from He’ll is a wonderful, entertaining show and it also teaches people so that more cats are cared for instead of battled with. That is something to be very proud of. 🙂
    God bless,
    Jo Good

    Hi Jackson,

Great show last night on Leno! I thought the whole segment went beautifully and your banter with Rebel Wilson only enhanced it. I left a comment for the folks at The Tonight Show on their website letting them know how much I enjoyed the show. Maybe they’ll invite you back soon! Of course, I couldn’t be happier that “My Cat From Hell” was picked up for another season as I’m one of your biggest fans.I have a small cat sitting business in LA (www.cat-sitter.com) and watching your show has taught me quite a bit. I also wanted to say that I really enjoyed your book “Cat Daddy” – a “must read” to all of your fans.
Keep up the good work, as the cats and we caretakers need you!

Hey Jackson, I love your show My Cat from Hell. I foster cats for my local shelter and love them dearly. I wish All the shelters were No Kill. I do not feel there is any reason whatsoever to kill an innocent animal. Thank you for all your great work you have saved so many cats that, not for you, their guardians would have surely given up. Thank you, Thank You, Thank You!!! Loved you on The Tonight Show..

First off, loved the interview, wished it was taken more seriously by Jay…and second…who the heck is that Rebel person and man, she is friggin ANNOYING…contrary to above, I thought she detracted from the interview and appeared to make fun of and minimize Jackson and what he does….glad about the interview, though i wish that annoying woman would have kept her trap shut….

    You rock Jackson!

Loved you on the Tonight Show, Jackson, including the “pussy whipped” remark made by Rebel Wilson and also your, “look at me” remark when Jay asked if you went to vet school. I also love “My Cat From Hell”, wish I could be a cat behaviorist. Our cat keeps us busy trying to figure her out. She’s not a problem cat at all, we got her 3 years ago in a rescue situation. She was already 3 years old, was living a very different life than the one she has now, we’re always trying to understand why she does things the way she does, then we realize, “oh, she probably used to do that in her ‘previous life’ “. I learn so much from you and the cats and your show–keep ’em coming!

Your show hasn’t been on here in the Dallas area for weeks! What’s going on? Miss ya!

Really too bad that Canadians cannot see these videos due to Hulu. Not your problem, I know …but I would have loved to have seen it as I am a huge fan of you and Jay!
Thanks for being such a consistent cat advocate! Our cat buddy is just a cat “from hell” about 15% of the time although we have used your helpful advice many times.

Hi! we have a 12 year old cat and she has had all of her teeth removed. She eats the can food OK but she still wants the dry food. We’ve tried to soften it for her but she doesn’t like that. We’ve tried water and oil but nothing. If she eats the dry food awhile later she coughs it back up. What can we do? John

    1. Marien   September 27, 2015 at 8:57 am

She should be able to eat dry food (dry, not moistened) just fine without teeth. Slow her up by giving small amounts of the dry food, more frequently if needed. A cat that eats too much, too fast will sometimes bring it all right back up. If her weight it okay, put some of that dry food in a small jar and offer it as a treat throughout the day. You’ll have a happy kitty!

We regret that Jackson does not answer questions posted in the comments. This is due to his demanding schedule and the high volume of requests he receives. But most importantly, since he has not met your cat, it would be contrary to his approach for him to give specific personalized advice for your specific situation. That being said, general questions and issues are addressed throughout this blog, in his book Cat Daddy and of course, the show My Cat From Hell.
