What chance does a tiny kitten with a severe upper respiratory and eye infection have on his own?
Richey is a spunky little guy, but he’s very lucky to be alive. Someone found him lying in a ditch and brought him in to animal control. With his severe infection, he should have been euthanized – but volunteers decided to give our #MonthlyMojo shelter for August a call, and Richey got another chance at life.
At Blind Cat Rescue & Sanctuary, Richey received the care he desperately needed. He was nursed back to health, had surgery to make him more comfortable after the infection, and best of all, received the opportunity to grow into a handsome marmalade tabby, full of playfulness and affection.
This little dude really had a rough start, but life is much better now that he has all of the medical attention, food, affection, and play that his heart desires. Watch how quickly after arriving at the sanctuary Richeydecides it's time to play!
