#ShelterSunday: Warrior Princess

Princess Zelda was named for the warrior she is. She was an outdoor kitten, and at about six months old, she was hit by a car and her hind legs were paralyzed. The man of the house thought she needed to be euthanized, but his wife saw strength and courage in this little girl.  She asked our #MonthlyMojo shelter for October, HELP Humane, to save the brave kitten. Of course HELP Humane agreed!

Zelda's hind legs are still paralyzed, but she is in no pain and doesn't know or act like she's handicapped. She uses the litter box faithfully and without difficulty. And this active beauty zooms around with breathtaking agility, climbing to the tops of the cat trees and speeding down the hallway faster than her human caretakers.

To look into those gorgeous golden eyes is to see an unbreakable spirit. Princess Zelda is happy and well cared for now. She just needs a safe, ideally stair-less forever home. Click here if you think you can provide one.
