When I received an urgent call from my friends in the rescue community, I knew I had to step in. A cat had shown up at a high school—emaciated, flea-ridden, yet incredibly friendly. This is Gato’s story. After being neutered and placed in a foster home, Gato has made significant strides, but the question remains: Is he ready for adoption, or does he need more time?
