Works great! The end of snarf and barf at our house. Yay!

Even though we have had a snarf and barf episode, overall Mila is doing much better with this bowl. She has gotten good at scooping the kibbles out, though she would prefer the easy way out. Also, the bowl is rather attractive, I think. I might put sticky feet on the bottom, because it slides a bit. Or I may not, and see how far she moves it. Cheap thrill. Thanks for recommending this bowl!

My cats (5 ranging in age from 2-18) so easily adapted to the first one I purchased that I recently ordered another. The 18-year-old ginger cat quickly devours churu treats - yesterday I wished there were a small version of the slow feeder (maybe 5" diameter) for feeding treats or wet food to slow him down a bit. The bottom line, this product is well-made and well-liked here. Strangely, my cats leave far less mess outside the bowl than when using conventional bowls. (There used to be many crumbs and bits outside the old bowls.) I do not know what accounts for that, but less vacuuming is always a plus, right?

My smart cat manages to get all the kibble before my fat lazy cat is motivated to try. It would slow down a single cat for sure: challenging because most cats can’t get their whisker box into the slot; they have to use their paw.

Slows down the cats while eating but they are still able to get to the food. Works well!
